In unprotected orchards pest sometimes destroys most of the leaves of apple trees. Its caterpillars live in large sockets, surrounded by white yarn. Caterpillars create rituals around the leaves, within a single rite, there are several to dozens of caterpillars. Young caterpillars minują list, and the old pożerają it in its entirety. I break the leaves, and apple donuts.
Spraying with DNOC or wczesnowiosenne carboline DNK can kill major part of the wintering caterpillars tarczkami, the most effective, however, is spraying just before flowering trees such preparations as Owadofos pl. 50, Metation E-50, Metox pl. 30, Zolone, Basudin 25 EC, 24 EC Gardon, Foschlor, M Propotox pl., Winylofos pl. 50, Karbatox zaw. 75, Dipel, or Bactospeine PM Thuricide HP.
